Mercury to stay on higher side for the next 5 days

The maximum temperature recorded on Wednesday was 27.2 degrees Celsius, three notches above normal. The minimum temperature, meanwhile, was 10.7 degrees Celsius. Met officials said no major variation in temperature is predicted for the next five days.
