The act of feeding streets dogs is fraught with controversy. After a colony in Vasant Kunj could not come to a consensus among the feeder, residents’ welfare association and local residents on identifying a designated feeding spot for stray dogs and Delhi High Court had to ask the Animal Welfare Board of India (AWBI) to intervene, a video surfaced on social media on Monday of similar opposition at a condominium in Gurgaon.
