Cabinet Committee on Security approves Tejas 2.0 mega project

The PM Modi-led Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS) cleared the project to develop Tejas Mark-2 with prototypes, flight testing and certification at a cost of over Rs 6,500 crore, in addition to the Rs 2,500 crore earlier sanctioned for it, top sources told TOI. Covid booster coverage lowest in two NE states, Jharkhand

Meghalaya, Nagaland and Jharkhand have the lowest coverage of precautionary/booster dose of Covid vaccine in the '18 years and above' age group, according to health ministry data. Desi qHPV vax against cervical cancer to be launched today

India is all set to launch on Thursday its first indigenously developed quadrivalent Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) vaccine for prevention of cervical cancer. It has been developed by the Serum Institute of India in partnership with the Department of Biotechnology.
