Delhi northeast riot case: Top cop forms special cell

Delhi Police commissioner Rakesh Asthana has formed a special investigation cell (SIC) to carry out a proper scrutiny of cases related to the northeast Delhi riots in 2020. The move came after the courts, on various occasions, have pulled up the cops for shoddy investigation and deficient chargesheets.
