Delhi on brink of ‘severe’ AQI again

The layer of smog thickened over Delhi on Thursday as the capital’s air quality deteriorated and reached the brink of ‘severe’ air quality. The 24-hour average Air Quality Index (AQI) of Delhi was 400 in ‘very poor’ category at 4 pm. However, it slipped into ‘severe’ category by 6 pm, shows data from the Central Pollution Control Board.
