Delhi records season’s lowest temp at 9.6°C

The city recorded the lowest minimum temperature of the season at 9.6 degrees Celsius, three degrees below normal, at base station Safdarjung on Wednesday. The night temperature dropped below 10 degrees Celsius at three other stations too — Ayanagar (9.1 degrees Celsius), Lodhi Road (9.8) and Mungeshpur (9.4). A Met official said that since the wind direction was predicted to change to easterly, the minimum temperature was likely to rise marginally over the next three days.
