PM Narendra Modi on Sunday unveiled a hologram of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose at India Gate. Emphasising that the hologram of Netaji will soon be replaced by a one cast in stone, the PM said that installation of the “giant statue” close to the National War Museum at India Gate and near Parliament marks a “homage to the hero of freedom by the grateful nation and will keep reminding our instititutions and coming generations the lesson of national duty”.

Modi’s visit propels Gujarat BJP into election mode

Riding high on BJP’s wins in UP, Uttarakhand, Manipur and Goa, a jubilant PM Narendra Modi on Friday attributed the electoral victories to the power of democracy wherein people were voting for development. “Due to the power of democracy, BJP retained power in states where governments were hardly elected twice in a row. This was possible as people are voting for development,” Modi said at a gathering of over a lakh representatives from the state’s panchayati raj institutions. from Times of India https://ift.tt/E7GIhAx via
