Covid-19: 80% in 15-18 age group have got first vaccine dose

India has vaccinated over 80% of adolescents between 15-18 years age with at least the first dose of Covid vaccine, crossing another major milestone even as fear of new variant and spread of infection through school going children continue to hover. Around 61% of youngsters in this age category of 15-18 years are now fully vaccinated against Covid-19 with two doses, official data shows. There are around 7.40 crore adolescents estimated to be in this category of 15-18 years.
