2024 polls: UP BJP to host first-ever Pasmanda meet on Oct 16

Nearly three months after Prime Minister Narendra Modi pitched for the socio-economic uplift of Pasmanda (backward) Muslims, the Uttar Pradesh BJP is set to host its first ever convention for the community as part of its Muslim outreach ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha polls. A host of senior state BJP leaders and ministers, including deputy CM Brajesh Pathak, are expected to attend the convention.
