6 Indians held in Pakistan jails despite completing term dead: MEA

Describing the deaths of Indian prisoners in Pakistan as alarming, the government on Friday said it had taken up the issue with Islamabad. The ministry of external affairs confirmed that six Indian prisoners had died in Pakistan in the past nine months. All of them had completed their sentences. MEA spokesperson Arindam Bagchi said among the dead were five fishermen.
