IPL: Rampaging Rahane powers Chennai to top spot

Top order batter Ajinjya Rahane's 29-ball-71 carnage took the Eden Gardens by storm as Chennai Super Kings floored Kolkata Knight Riders to move to the top of the table. The Chennai batters led by a transformed Rahane outbatted the hosts as Kolkata's 49-run defeat at home turned out to be their fourth on the trot. With the win, Chennai rose to the top of the points table and now have 5 wins in 7 matches. Kolkata, on the other hand found themselves at the 8th spot with just 2 wins in 7 games.
