70% of students in coveted medical schools will be from 9 states

Over 70% of students joining the MBBS course in top medical colleges this year will be from nine states. The NEET-UG 2023 marks range data, exclusively accessed by TOI, showed that nearly 65% of candidates who scored 400 and above are from eight states — Bihar, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, UP and West Bengal. In the 620 and above marks range, Delhi replaces Bihar in top eight.
