A six-hour resignation drama surrounding CM N Biren Singh Friday provided an interlude in Manipur's continuing saga of violence - starting with thousands of supporters congregating in front of his Imphal residence, reaching a crescendo with some women snatching and tearing the draft into shreds, and climaxing in the protagonist tweeting that he would stay on.
