EC gets divergent views on Assam delimitation exercise

The Election Commission, during its just-concluded public hearings on the draft delimitation proposal for Assam, was swarmed with conflicting viewpoints from different ethnic groups and sections of opinion but ensured that each of them was patiently heard, while fostering the spirit of consultation, consensus, and participation.
