Finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Thursday said the government is taking a series of steps to cool down inflation, including importing tomatoes from Nepal and increasing the supply of subsidised ones through coopeartives and Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC), amid signs of moderation in prices.
