China's troop build-up, LAC infra work still on: Pentagon

China continues to maintain its significant military presence along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) with India, according to the Pentagon's annual report on China's military power. The report also states that China is actively developing border infrastructure, including underground storage facilities, roads, villages, airfields, and helipads. The report further reveals that China has surpassed previous projections, with over 500 operational nuclear warheads and is on track to reach over 1,000 warheads by 2030.
