Uttarakhand UCC draft in last lap? Dhami-Shah meet sparks buzz

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and the expert committee working on the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) for the state met with Union Home Minister Amit Shah, indicating that discussions on the UCC draft are nearing completion. Uttarakhand is likely to be the first state to adopt the UCC, with other BJP-ruled states expected to follow.
