EAM: US' Pannun inputs impact our national security

India decided to investigate the alleged plot to assassinate Sikh separatist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun after receiving inputs from the US, which were related to organized crime and national security. An inquiry committee has been formed to look into the matter. Canada did not provide any specific evidence or inputs regarding the killing of pro-Khalistan terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar. The US has urged India to participate in the Canadian probe, as Ottawa's claims are based on intelligence shared among the 'Five Eyes' countries.
